About
A.J. is the Director of Discipleship and Family Life at ACTS Church Leander in Austin, TX. His dream is to one day plant a church, and to find the best burger in the world! A.J. is originally from New York, yet has moved around so much that he claims to no longer have an accent. He enjoys playing the piano, spending time with his wife trying new things, and eating delicious food; he once ate 37 chicken wings during an impromptu eating contest with friends while on a mission trip!
Recent Experience
A.J. most recently served as the event emcee at The National Youth Gathering, one of the largest youth events in the US that provides students the opportunity to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity. He describes it as an incredible experience working with so many young passionate professionals in ministry and loved getting the chance to connect with students on stage and off stage.
